Mr Chitturi is a veteran in the poultry industry in India and heads Srinivasa Farms as its Vice Chairman and Managing Director. In 2019, Mr Chitturi became the first Asian to take up the mantle of the IEC; a global network for the egg industry.
As the Chairman of the IEC, Mr Chitturi has been promoting a farmer first philosophy. He is also promoting modernization and sustainability of the poultry industry through the adoption of technology, good rearing practices and welfare of the livestock. He is also an advocate of nutritional deficiencies of women and children in India. Mr Chitturi is a regular speaker in many international forums on the egg industry.
