Thaifoods Group foresees strong chicken exports to China and the EU in Q2 and Q3 following a 60-day prohibition on Brazilian chicken. Phet Nantavisai, COO of Thaifoods Group, said this ban presents a significant opportunity for Thai chicken producers and exporters.
He said the company is poised to achieve its revenue growth target of 10-15% this year, driven by higher chicken and pork prices, reduced feed costs, and effective logistics expense management.
Additionally, the company is bolstered by Thaifoods Fresh Market, its retail shop business, which is on track to expand to 600 locations by the end of this year, up from 430 branches at the end of Q1.
