South Sumatera to export PKE to New Zealand

The Animal, Fish, and Plant Quarantine Center of South Sumatera, Indonesia, has ensured the quality assurance of palm kernel expeller (PKE) that will be exported to New Zealand. Konstan Manalu, Head of Quarantine, said the commodity is in demand by many countries for animal feed, including the Netherlands, China, Singapore, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam. “The province has exported 367,000 tons from 2022-2024. As of May this year, the province has exported 41,000 tons,” he said.
