CV Lemooin Jaya Abadi in Indonesia saw opportunities for value creation and processing to meet growing demand during the pandemic. When it started operating in 2017, the company only produced and distributed fresh meat. “As customer preferences changed, we decided to offer processed beef last year,” founder Heri Purnomo told Asian Agribiz. Lemooin also improved its products with better hygiene and packaging, ensuring production follows national standards. The company’s processed products include marinated steak, meatballs, sausages, and beef jerky.
