Indonesia’s agtech startup, Goopo Inovasi, has ventured into sheep farming by collaborating with Villa Ternak, a sheep producer in Banten province. Goopo now offers investment packages in sheep farming to its app users, said CEO Arya Wicaksana. It also offers investment packages in beef cattle farming alongside BBS Farm in West Java. “If our app users don’t have enough money to invest in beef cattle farming, they can choose sheep farming where the investment is lower, around USD 125-175 per head,” he said.
