Intra-regional opportunities for Southeast Asian producers


Animal protein producers in Southeast Asia should study the intra-regional market closely for opportunities, Rupert Claxton, consultant at market research firm Gira, told Asian Agribiz. “Southeast Asia’s market has been developing well over the last five years. We’ve been expecting regional producers to look closely at local markets, and maybe some might expand to Japan, South Korea, and China,” he said.
