Singapore’s Kee Song Group will continue sending frozen chicken to Singapore from its farms in Johor despite Malaysia’s pending ban on chicken exports. “We will continue sending our blast frozen chicken carcasses, which are as good as freshly slaughtered chicken, to Singapore. We don’t foresee any issues with the Malaysian government’s temporary curb on chicken exports to ensure domestic supplies. We will just switch from fresh to frozen thawed products,” Head of Business Development James Sim told Asian Agribiz.
