CPF signs MOU with Uoriki to import Japanese seafood

Thailand’s CP Foods (CPF) signed an MOU with Uoriki, a Japanese seafood retailer, to import premium fish and seafood. Uoriki engages in the wholesale and retail of fresh seafood products in Japan. CPF CEO Prasit Boondoungprasert said the partnership is in line with its vision to supply Thai consumers with high-quality fresh fish and seafood products at affordable prices. Both companies will work on marketing strategies and distribution channels to meet growing demand for healthy Japanese food in major cities, Mr Prasit said.
