From a background as a fish farmer in southern Thailand, Chakrit moved to journalism. He has been rooted in livestock and aquaculture reporting over the last 20 years. For a brief spell he was a marketer for local and international firms that specialize in novel solutions for animal nutrition.

Arief’s family raised beef cattle and layer ducks, leading him to pursue a degree in animal science. Having worked in the poultry and dairy cattle industries in Indonesia for some years, he found his passion in animal agricultural journalism.

With a background in international relations, she joined Asian Agribiz, dedicated to bridging the gap between the animal protein industry in her country and the region.
