CP Vietnam has exported its first shipment of processed chicken to South Korea. The shipment was announced on August 25 at the CPV Food Bình Phước integrated poultry and processing complex.
South Korea becomes the eighth international market for CP Vietnam’s processed chicken products, alongside markets including Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Russia.
The company underwent an approval process involving South Korea’s Animal and Plant Quarantine Agency and the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety. Korean authorities also inspected CPV Food Bình Phước’s integrated feed-farm-food operations between July and December 2025.
Vietnam and South Korea completed negotiations to open their respective markets to processed chicken earlier this year. Under the bilateral arrangement, processed chicken can be traded in both directions.
