Ample supply prompts corn imports from Brazil and Argentina


Southeast Asia will likely import more corn in 2024/25, with Vietnam leading the way. The USDA forecasts the region will import 19.4mt, mainly from Brazil and Argentina.

Vietnam corn imports are up 500,000 tons to 12.0mt as strong supplies from South America support growing corn feed demand.
