A new high-tech pig farm with sustainability and economic efficiency factored in has been established by Hung Thinh Vietnam at a cost of USD 1.6 million. The company built the farm following GreenFeed’s model, which includes an effective biosecurity system and farm design that is scientific and easy-to-manage. It also has a waste treatment system that meets national standards. The most important sustainable element of the farm is the solar energy system, which is collected to cover energy use at the farm, with the excess sold to the grid.
