Adisseo is building a 150,000 ton/year powder methionine plant in China. The smart plant in Fujian Province will begin operation by 2027. “By demonstrating cost and size leadership in liquid methionine, Adisseo is willing to complement its leadership in powder methionine to become global frontrunners by 2030,” remarked Dr Zhigang Hao, Chairman and CEO of Adisseo. “This project will strengthen our leading position in the methionine industry and optimize our product portfolios and global production capacity, thereby creating value for our customers.”
