Many processors are responding to calls for more affordable processed meats by reducing product sizes.

With rising inflation and imminent global recession in 2023, consumers are expected to cut back on expenses. Generally, animal protein products are among the first to be cut. To substitute, they will likely turn to cheaper, processed meat products, reports ISA Q TAN and the Asian Agribiz team.
