He discusses these benefits and encourages producers to “tell our story” to counter the misconceptions about pork and encourage greater consumption. He also notes that the current slowdown in consumption is just a glitch caused by the reduced supply due to ASF. Despite the challenges posed by poultry meat and alternative proteins, pork’s hold on the Asian market remains firm.
