Evonik’s MetAmino product shows comparable animal performance criteria to MHA-products across species. The data was published in its first edition of MetAmino Atlas. The report displays the results of 15 performance trials investigating the relative bioavailability of supplementary methionine sources in animal diets. The trials were conducted in 11 countries under different climatic, geographic and farm conditions. “We found that comparable animal performance criteria were achieved when 100 units of MHA-products were replaced with 65 units of MetAmino,” said Nils Niedner, Product Manager for MetAmino.
