In this podcast, Budi Tangendjaja, Technical Consultant at US Grains Council, discusses how the Russia-Ukraine war has impacted the supply, demand, and prices of feed grains including corn, wheat, and soybean, in Southeast Asia.

According to him, the situation is complicated since logistics disruptions are still a concern. Besides, the US’ policy to increase biodiesel production has driven soybean meal prices up further.

Finally, Dr Tangendjaja recommends that feed producers in the region identify available alternative ingredients to reduce their feed production costs.
