Adapting to automation in poultry processing promotes efficiency and consistency. “Automation makes the workforce more efficient since poultry plants require a lot of repetitive manual work that can be eliminated. Worker exhaustion can lead to wastage in terms of cutting and portioning,” said  Meyn Food Processing Technology’s Global Product Manager Pete van Poorten told Asian Agribiz in the ‘Transformation and trends in poultry primary processing’ podcast.
