Vietnamese farmers urged to vaccinate flocks as AI escalates


Vietnam’s Quang Tri Department of Animal Health announced a new outbreak of avian influenza (AI) H5N6 at five farms with a total flock of 3200 birds. Of these, 1200 died from the disease.

An outbreak of AI H5N1 also appeared in Ca Mau province, in a flock of 60 ducks.
