Avian influenza cases double in Vietnam’s duck and chicken farms


Duck farms in Vietnam account for 56% of the total bird flu outbreaks.

Since the beginning of the year, Vietnam has reported 66 avian influenza outbreaks nationwide – 52 A/H5N6 and 14 A/H5N1 outbreaks in 23 provinces and cities. There were 200,000 birds culled.
